This journey threads together the two most spectacular canyons in the country — the Todra and Dadès Gorges — with the rugged beauty of the High Atlas and a night beneath the stars in Merzouga. It's a well-paced adventure for travelers who want depth without rushing: real time in the mountains, real time in the desert, and real time to simply take it all in.
Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech → Tizi n'Tichka Pass → Aït Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate.
- Day 2
Road of the Kasbahs, Valley of Roses, Dadès Gorges. Overnight in a mountain guesthouse.
- Day 3
Todra Gorges, then across the desert to Merzouga. Overnight bivouac under the stars.
- Day 4
Sunrise over the dunes, return via Rissani and Erfoud. Overnight en route.
- Day 5
Return to Marrakech in the morning.
